Day 28

Photos from the site will be taken during the day instead of at the end of day. The guys are working really late and because the sun sets earlier, the shots just aren't coming out as well. So now you'll be treated to "building in action" shots :)

They had to work late into the rainy night to finish pouring the concrete

Day 14

The site was closed for the weekend and the holiday but they wasted no time today and worked all day long. At the end of the day, they put one of the cylinders into the ground and our building shook the entire time they did that. Our building manager sent out an email following the occurrence because I think it frightened a lot of people. It was the weirdest feeling. Apparently, there are more of those to go into the ground over the next 8 weeks.

Bottom right, the hole for the cylinder and cement is by the bulldozer

It's so dark, but the cylinder is in the ground, bottom right corner

Day 13

We figured out what the big wheels were for today - A THIRD CRANE!

The site with all three cranes up and working

End of Day 13 and someone left the gate open (upper left of the site)

Day 12

A second crane arrived today

It never before occurred to me that construction sites would receive FedEx packages. After seeing the items that came out of that truck, I understand why they used the cranes to life them.
